How to Book Concession Tickets

All tickets, including free and reduced-price ones, must be booked online through the official ticketing portal before your visit. During the booking process, you will be able to select the appropriate ticket type for each member of your party.

When you arrive at the museum for your scheduled time slot, each person with a concession ticket must present their valid ID (student card, teacher credentials, national ID, etc.) along with their ticket. Museum staff are strict about this policy, so be sure to have your documents ready.

Concessions FAQ

Your questions on discounts answered.

Do I still need to book a ticket for my 5-year-old child?
Yes. Even though admission is free for children under 6, you must book a free timed-entry ticket for them online to ensure they are counted in the museum's capacity limits.
I am a student from another country. Do I get a discount?
The student discount generally applies to all students with a valid, current student ID card, regardless of nationality. However, it is always best to have a card that clearly shows your name, photo, and an expiry date.
Are there any free days for the general public?
Unlike some other museums, the Museo Frida Kahlo does not have regularly scheduled free admission days for the general public. Concessions are based on the categories listed above.
What form of ID is acceptable for the Mexican national discount?
A valid INE card (credencial para votar) or a Mexican passport are the standard forms of identification accepted for the national resident discount.
